Mustamäe Sports & Recreation Centre

Residents of the Mustamäe district have long dreamed of having their own swimming pool — and we’re pleased to say that by the end of 2018, that dream will be realized. In collaboration with ESPLAN’s team of engineers, a comprehensive structural design project was completed, not only for a 25-meter swimming pool but for an entire sports and leisure centre.

The complex includes five pools, 17 different saunas, a bowling alley, and a wide range of other recreational facilities.

Due to its scale and several unique solutions, the building posed a serious challenge even for experienced engineers. We are proud to have contributed to the development of this new landmark in Mustamäe, which is being constructed by Astlanda Ehitus OÜ.

With its striking blue-black-white façade, the new sports and leisure centre is more than just a building — it is a fitting gift to local residents in celebration of the Republic of Estonia’s centenary.
