Kääriku training base

The reconstruction and expansion of the Kääriku Sports Centre complex was both an exciting and demanding undertaking. The goal was to create a facility that aligned with the client’s vision while meeting international standards for training and accommodation. The project began with a joint exploration of the complex’s intended dynamics and functionality, and culminated in the design of tens of thousands of square meters of space, complete with technical infrastructure and kilometres of underground utility lines.

In essence, the work resembled the design of an autonomously functioning small town. From energy systems to water and waste management, every element needed to support high-performance sport, everyday functionality, and long-term sustainability.

We hope that this newly built health-oriented environment will become the foundation for future success stories — for both elite athletes and dedicated amateurs.
