Building automation engineer
We are looking for a Building Automation Engineer with experience in designing BMS and automation systems, and a passion for creating smart and energy-efficient buildings. What we expect from you:
A technical higher education degree in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
At least 2 years of prior experience in designing building automation or BMS systems
Understanding of building technical systems (HVAC, ventilation, lighting, etc.)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel; familiarity with Revit/BIM and BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Fidelix, SCADA, etc.) is a plus
Proficiency in Estonian and technical-level English
Additional advantages:
Previous on-site experience and/or collaboration with automation system installers
Skills in programming or system configuration (e.g., PLC, DDC)
Certifications or training in BMS/SCADA platforms
Interest in green transition, smart building solutions, and energy efficiency
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Designing and engineering building automation and BMS (Building Management System) solutions
- Collaborating with other discipline designers (ventilation, heating, electrical, etc.)
- Preparing automation system specifications and technical drawings (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
- Developing energy efficiency strategies and control logic concepts
- Providing technical coordination and on-site support when needed
- Keeping up with new technologies and integrating innovative solutions into projects
