The goal was to stop the building from sinking and to restore the original charm of this 17th-century structure.

At the start of the project, we spent a lot of time walking through the building — and we were captivated by the young ballet students we saw there. Their enthusiasm was so genuine that they practiced pointe work and other graceful moves even during breaks. We watched with fascination.

The more time we spent in the space and the more we came to understand the building, the clearer it became just how much these students needed their school.

But not the school as it was — with a crumbling façade, a sinking foundation, and spaces that no longer served their purpose.

Together with our team, we worked hard to halt the building’s subsidence and restore the original beauty of this 17th-century structure.

Today, the building stands as a welcoming home for many young ballet artists — a place that supports their passion and growth. And we are proud to say that it is now ready to stand strong for generations to come.
