A thoughtfully designed, comfortable workspace that supports the mission of those responsible for Estonia’s internal security.
The Ministry of the Interior’s office space was an engaging interior architecture project, aimed at creating an inspiring and welcoming work environment for the employees of Estonia’s internal security authority. Located on the top floor of a heritage-listed building in Tallinn’s Old Town, the space needed to retain a sense of openness and airiness, in line with the client’s wishes.
Through the design process, a dignified historical building and a vital state institution were given a fresh, contemporary identity — one that respects both the building’s architectural legacy and the important national work carried out within its walls.
