RMK Headquarters – Where architecture meets nature
Given the building’s location within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town of Tallinn, special attention had to be paid to preserving historical details. During the renovation, stained glass artworks by Dolores Hoffmann were uncovered and restored in the main hall, highlighting the cultural value of the space.
The building’s functionality was carefully adapted to meet the specific needs of the State Forest Management Centre (RMK). In the interior, only natural materials and solutions were used to ensure authenticity and environmental harmony.
The architectural planning was inspired not only by the building itself but also by the collaborative spirit of everyone involved in the design process. The client’s vision was clearly defined from the outset, and the project progressed in a positive and constructive manner throughout.
