State Forest Management Centre office building

“Since this building is situated in a heritage conservation area in the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Tallinn, particular attention had to be paid to historic details, including the stained glass windows of Dolores Hoffmann installed in the hall in the course of reconstruction work. The use of the building was adapted in line with the needs and wishes of the SFMC, and only natural materials and solutions were utilised in the interior.

At the architectural planning stage inspiration was drawn from the building itself, as well as from all those contributing to the design. The client’s objective was clear to everyone, and it was achieved as a result of a very positive process. ”
